better setup for these links soon. I realize that it's not designed very
well for browsing.

The Family History Detective The Website of Anne and Graham Bull, who are Beal relatives from Derby, England. They have a collection of dates regarding Beals on their page. Use the pulldown menu on the left of their page to choose the surname Beal.
Heritage Quest Census records @ the Connecticut Digital Archive If you have a CT State library card (available free to residents on Connecticut and the CT State Library in Hartford) you can get freee access to ALL United States Census records!!! Yes, free! I use this instead of Ancestry now.
DeadFred Genealogy Photo Archive A great site for locating and sharing historical pictures of your family.
New England Historic Genealogical Society The New England Historic Genealogical Society is the oldest genealogical society in the country. It has an online searchable database (when you subscribe) of references that would seem to be exclusive to their site only. Helpful if your relatives are indeed from the Northeast US.

The National Archives of England, Wales and the United Kingdom This site, in their own words" has one of the largest archival collections in the world, spanning 1000 years of British history, from Domesday Book of 1086 to government papers recently released to the public." Well worth a look!
Sheffield, England Genealogy Family & Social History page for Sheffield, Yorkshire, England hosted by Rootsweb.com. A GREAT resource for anyone looking into thier Sheffield Roots.
